On October 5, Monday at 18:00 at the Museum “Earth and Man” will be officially presented four-volume work of Ivan Punchev, PhD “Introduction to the system of dialectical logic”. This is the first edition of the large-scale studies of Ivan Punchev in dialectical logic, which shows the historical genesis of the idea for a new non-classical mathematical dialectics and dialectical mathematics. The very idea of unity of dialectics and mathematics was first erected by the medieval philosopher, a forerunner of modern science, Nicolas of Cusa. Ivan Punchev shows the relevance of this idea and its great importance not only for the development of modern science, but also for the future of humanity as a Cosmic Mind.

#### Ivan Punchev, PhD

(1942 - 2009)

For more than 40 years, Ivan Punchev worked in Philosophy Institute at Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. He has a unique contribution to the theory of dialectical-logic systems. With his profound knowledge in Hegel’s philosophy and the history and theory of mathematics, he is perhaps the best mathematician among philosophers and best philosopher among mathematicians. He is continuer of the concept of Cosmic Philosophy with considerable innovative ideas.

It might be interesting to compare the work of Dr. Punchev with that of another project which has also derived a “new non-classical mathematical dialectics and dialectical mathematics”. In the case of this other project, their first “mathematics of dialectics” is both a ‘contra-Boolean’ algebra for dialectical logic, and a non-standard model of the Peano “Natural” numbers arithmetic, such as was foretold by both the Lowenheim-Skolem Theorem, and the “first order” logic co-application of the Goedel Completeness and Incompleteness Theorems.
