The Universe phenomena could be described as mutually connected space points. There are two major classes of possible space configurations: linear and spherical.

The linear space contains finite number of mutually connected points, whose finity is defined by their coordinates. This means that each point differs from the rest, and in this way, they are connected only by the one-dimensional vector of time. To move from point A to point B or C, you must follow some order of moments, where “before” and “after” are defined by spatial coordinates of connected points. There is n-number of possible orders in a linear space, but the resulting vector of time is always one-dimensional, because only in this way the differences between the points can exist as uniform space: “that” space.

The spherical space contains infinite number of mutually connected points, which are equally close and distant from each other. Every move from any point to any point will at the same time shorten the distance between them and increasing the distance between them. This ambiguity means that there is no time-vector in a spherical space. Each action will be a cause of itself, in this way eliminating the difference between “before” and “after”. In this way, the time in the spherical space is multidimensional, opposite to whatever we understand as a time.

There is possible a third class of space configurations, in-between space, with two possible sub-configurations: “emerging” linear space, and “emerging” spherical space.

Let say that we have a single spherical space. A relation with another space, spherical or linear, will cause the points of the sphere to get coordinates transforming the spherical space into a subset of linear space.

In opposite, when the number of connected points in a linear space grows to infinity, this transforms the space into spherical one, because each action will cause infinite number of reflections over the acted point. The coordinates in this case will become “blurred”.

Are there “real world” examples of these three major classes of space configurations?

I will not go here in details, but some of the most obvious examples of spherical space are the Universe before Big Bang, the black holes, the holographic models of Universe like the interpretation of the quantum mechanics by David Bohm.

On other hand, the world of classical mechanic is full of linear spaces, that usually we are call them “objects” or “things”.

Most interesting are the in-between, “emerging” spaces. I will point my attention to most notorious ones.

Multicellular organisms are an example for “emerging” spherical space. When the number of mutually connected cells grows, they form a spherical space where each cell is depended on all of the rest cells. However, because the organism itself interacts with other organisms and other spaces, this spherical space collapses back to a functional discrete linear space of the organism’s “live”.

Consciousness is another example of “emerging” spherical space. The neural networks in our brains can be regarded as infinite space of mutually depended neuron cells. However, any outside signal will cause this spherical space to collapse back to the linear space of our “person”.

We can regard the community also as a proto “emerging” spherical space. Each person influences any other person, and at the same time, this is influenced by him or her. However, the restrictions of our lives cause the existing human communities to behave as linear spaces. On other hand, the process of globalization of human communities will lead to emergency of true spherical space of so-called post-humanity. This process in futurist’s circles is a popular as “singularity point”. I will elaborate on this in another article. Here I will only mention, that a personal immortality will be possible only when all people are connected with each other, causing the linear space of our persons to disappear, eliminating the one-dimensional time of our mortal lives.

This interpretation of Universe has its theoretical roots and implications in the Theory of Logic of Ivan Punchev, in the Theory of Sets of Georg Cantor, as well as in the General Theory of Systems. Speaking about the last, I have to say that according to my interpretation of the Universe only the linear spaces can be regarded as “systems”. The spherical spaces are not systems, and they can be regarded as quantum state of the matter. Probably they should be analyzed by the mathematical equitations of quantum mechanics, and proving this would be one of the major topics in the Stream “Cosmos” of Human Future Project.
